Photograph caption dated March 23, 1964 reads, "Lois Miles of Reseda, right, receives annual Woman Pilot of the Year trophy from Mrs. Audrey Schutte, vice chairman of the '99s' and first recipient of the award four years ago. The '99s,' an international group of licensed women pilots, held their award banquet Saturday at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City. Guest speakers included test pilot Scott Crossfield and Walter Williams, deputy administrator of NASA's Gemini program."
