To the upper-left section of the photograph is the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament at Eleventh and K Streets. In the lower section of the photograph is the First Baptist Church at Ninth and M Streets. L Street runs diagonally from the lower left hand corner to the upper right hand portion of the photograph.
