Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated July 5, 1962 partially reads, "Rain or shine, the Rev. David Gordon, of 21730 San Jose St., Chatsworth, is the man who keeps his weather eye cocked and tells anyone who's interested what the elements are doing...Mr. Gordon, a minister who most of the time works at organizing a newly formed Church of the Nazarene in Chatsworth, says he doesn't mind requests for weather information at odd hours of the night and morning...Among the array of equipment proudly displayed by the minister is a hygrometer, which gives the percentage of moisture in the air; a thermograph, which charts temperatures automatically on a graph for a period of one week; an anemometer to clock wind velocity; and an ordinary weather van [sic] to determine wind direction."
