From J.E.D. Baldwin Collection.
Born in 1841 to Isaac B. Bennett and Sibyl La Due in Michigan. Served in the Civil War. In early 1860s came to California via Panama, settling in San Francisco, coming to Sacramento in 1868. Married Emma Allen in 1875 and Lizzie Lardner in 1877. Employed by Sacramento Savings Bank until 1910. Died in 1920.
