Description
Seven city officials indicted on wiretapping charges by the Grand Jury are shown when they appeared in court for arraignment on March 2, 1942. The scheduled arraignment, however, was delayed upon the request of the defense. Left to right, front row, Police Officer Ray Pinker, Deputy Police Chief Ross R. McDonald, Chief of Police C. B. Horrall, and Chief Deputy District Attorney Grant Cooper. Second row, Police Capt. Paul Harrison, Officer G. B. Gourley, Investigator Wallace N. Jamie. Clifford Clinton, also indicted, was not present due to Army service.
