Description
Long Beach fireboats join those of Los Angeles and the Navy to attack flames at Long Beach Harbor Ford plant. Explosion and fire caused when levee of the Dominguez Channel burst near plant, sending oil and water into Ford plant, shorting out electrical circuits. Fireboats battled the blaze for five hours.
