Description
Title from image. Exterior view of the concert hall, the home of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, with unidentified statues on roof. In the front courtyard is a statue honoring Felix Mendelssohn. The motto "Res severa est verum gaudium" ("a serious concern is true pleasure", or "true pleasure is a serious business" – from the Roman author Seneca) is visible just below the roof of the main entrance. Paved street, streetlamps, trees and a pedestrian are also visible in this image. Unused, colorized, with divided back. Described as a view card, based on realistic image of a specific location.
