Description
At Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park in Coloma, the Department of Parks and Recreation has changed an exhibit housed in one of two former Chinese stores in the park. The geology exhibit has been replaced with an exhibit of placer mining, dredging, hydraulic and hardrock mining. Gus Till, park ranger, examines artifacts inside the small assay office of the new exhibit.
