Description
A copy of a page about three houses on West Seventh Street and their occupants. 145 West Seventh Street was built in 1923. By 1928 The Norton School for Boys was started on the site by Dean Norton and his brother Stephen. The house on !57 West Seventh Street is a clapboard bungalow. The best known owner was Mr. Nisbet, headmaster of Norton School, who lived their until a residence was built for him at the campus on Padua Avenue. 169 West Seventh Street was built by Edwin Norton, and sold to the first owners, Abbott and Mary Page. This house is a large, two-story, clapboard bungalow (Bungaloid) with a side entry portico and Tuscan support columns.
