Description
Photograph caption reads: "Giraffe baby Kamili makes her public debut escorted by her parents at the Los Angeles Zoo. The 3-week-old Masai giraffe, whose name means "perfect" in Swahili, immediately took a liking to her father yesterday to the consternation of her mother. The 6-foot-2 newborn eventually will grown 16 feet tall. Kamili is the first giraffe born at the L.A. Zoo since 1973". Photograph dated: Aug. 3, 1988.
