Photograph caption dated July 17, 1961 reads, "Valley boys Kevin and Bryan McCall, 6 1/2, survey the circus scene at Los Angeles Recreation and Park Department's combined Traveling Circus and Kiddie Carnival in the upper left picture. "Well, what'll we do?" they ask each other in picture at the upper right. "Maybe it could be something in this ring," they muse at lower left. But they ended up as firemen for the Burn 'Em Fire Department in the picture at the lower right.
