Photograph caption dated March 22, 1961 reads, "Ted Williams, one of the greatest hitters of all time in the major leagues, is welcomed at Lockheed Airport in Burbank yesterday afternoon by group of Little League baseball players. The Boston Red Sox slugger will appear tonight at the Coliseum in Sears' hitting clinic for Little Leaguers."
