Description: Image of an elevated view overlooking an orchard of trees in Rivera (present-day Pico Rivera, California).
"Overlooking Rivera from the Windmill"--text, handwritten on negative. Title transcribed from negative; date range approximated by cataloger based on the year that film negatives came into use and the latest known dates indicated for other Hazard images in the Huntington's collection. Rivera was an unincorporated country town on the Santa Fe Railroad line; it was incorporated with Pico in 1958 to form Pico Rivera.
