Ire Baughman of Boulder City, Nev. was the man who rescued the Cutting family.
Photograph caption dated July 20, 1959 reads, "Reviews near tragedy. Mrs. Ermadean Cutting, center, of 4542 Talofa Ave., Toluca Lake, reviews Lake Meade boat fire which threatened lives of herself and her two children, Wendy, left, and Douglas, right. Boulder City man who descued [sic] them is candidate for Carnegie hero award."
