Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the south veranda of Camulos Ranch, Ventura County, Ramona's home in the book of the same name by Helen Hunt Jackson, [s.d.]. A small fenced opening leads to the veranda of a ranch house, at center. A doorway set in between two solid concrete slopes built into the wall stands at right, surrounded by a thick layer of foliage. The open porch-area appears at center, lined with flowering plants, while another solid part of the house can be seen further down, at right.
