The Union Oil Building is visible in the lower lefthand corner, sandwiched between Seventh Street and Grand Street, which are followed by Hope Street, Gower Street and Figueroa Street. Farther back on the same strip, the Hotel Trinity can be seen. To the left, across Seventh, the Hotel Stillwell can be seen, proclaiming itself "Fireproof" on its sign. Across Grand, the YMCA can be seen, while up and over Hope the Hotel Ritz is visible. Other highrise buildings fill the rest of the image.
