Description
Photograph caption dated April 6, 1960 reads, "Many city officials and financial authorities including representatives of the Federal Reserve System, San Francisco, joined in extending good wishes at the opening of the Toluca Lake Branch of the Valley National Bank, at 10225 Riverside Dr. Newly minted pennies, mounted on greeting cards, were among the souvenirs of the event. Above, left to right, Gene Autry, honorary mayor of Toluca Lake; Carl H. Wiggenhorn, vice president and manager, Toluca Lake office, Valley National Bank; Linus E. Southwick, president; John M. Lawson, chairman of the board. Autry is receiving a souvenir penny card."
