Title supplied by cataloger. Written in pen on back: "Deglet-noor dates commercial orchard, Mecca, Cal. (Riverside). The sand blew away from base of trees, and had to be terraced back around them. Dates of this variety sell for $1.00 per pound at the orchard. Retail for $1.25 per pound in Los Angeles. Stamped on back: "This photograph is our file copy do not mutilate it. Please return as soon as possible Philadelphia Commercial Museum. 9456."
