Describes stolen portions of ration books, and mentions others' having similar experiences. Describes experiences with ethnic groups in the area. Discusses her family's activities, fruit canning, and a trip to Denver. Mentions "Bob", presumably her husband and his booming gardening business as well as a a farming deal.
