Description
Photograph of a cliff view of the Hopi village at Walpai (Walapai), [s.d.]. The pueblo is situated on a tall rocky mesa overlooking the desert below. It is a composite of many rectangular sections attached together, and it has the appearance of a castle. There is a steep set of stairs cut into the cliff at center leading up to the pueblo. Picture file card reads "J.Schmeding, 2343 Scarff Street".
