Description: View of the Griffith Park observatory and planetarium. The building was constructed between 1933 and 1935. In this view the placement of sidewalks has been marked out but not yet installed. The lawn and other landscaping have also not yet been installed. The view is of the northern facade in Classical Moderne style. Built in 1935. Architects: John C. Austin and Frederick M. Ashley.
