Comedian Joe E. Brown is pictured paying his final respects for fellow funnyman Lou Costello, who passed away of a heart attack after a very short illness. Hundreds of friends, relatives and admirers attended the service at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Studio City, and numerous others said their goodbyes at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in East Los Angeles, where Mr. Costello was interred. Photograph dated March 7, 1959.
