Description
A woman stands in a three-quarter pose, wearing a blue and black plaid suit and a pink blouse. Over a rose pink softly gathered blouse with a high collar that also has a small turn over collar of blue at the neck, she wears a blue and black plaid waist length jacket with five front buttons, open, showing the button loops. The jacket is trimmed with wide black bands at the center front and hem in wide scallops. The sleeves are blue and black plaid, narrow with some fullness at the wrists. The cuffs are black, edged with a narrow white band, as is the standing jacket collar. Her skirt is of blue and black plaid, gored to fit snugly and smoothly at the hips, and to have a flared trumpet silhouette and a slight train. The waist band is black, and there is decorative top-stitching to the hip on the front gore seams. Her black pill box hat is decorated with either matching blue curled feather plumes, or matching blue roses. She wears white gloves, and carries a rolled blue and black plaid rug or blanket with handle. In the lower right hand corner is a small black and white sketch of the back view of the outfit. A rectangle behind the woman provides a minimal decorative accent.
