Description
Photograph snipe dated reads, "Leslie Van Houten doesn't know exactly how to react after the jury couldn't decide on a verdict. Picture taken as she leaves Criminal Court House Saturday afternoon." Additional photograph caption dated January 26, 1978 reads, "Leslie Van Houten." Van Houten was retried on charges of murdering Rosemary and Leno La Bianca in 1969 due to the disappearance of her attorney during her trial.
