Description
The Malibu Times is the longest running newspaper in Malibu, California. The newspaper covers the region of Malibu, and includes sections on the community, Malibu life, news, sports, opinion, obituaries, and entertainment. The paper was founded in 1946 by Reeves Templeman, an accomplished journalist and editor. Arnold and Karen York bought the newspaper in 1987. In the early 1990s, the couple started another newspaper called Canyon and Country Times, which covered neighboring Santa Monica foothill communities; however, this publication only lasted a few years.
