Photograph caption dated November 24, 1962 reads, "Proceeds of the bazaar and luncheon sponsored by the Burbank Navy Mothers Club 221 Wednesday at the Burbank VFW Hall, 1006 W. Magnolia Blvd., will go for the Christmas of the patients in Ward 8 of the San Fernando Veteran's Hospital. Some of the members, who have been sewing each Wednesday for the event, are from left Mmes. Boyde Adams, Pete Peters, commander, and Utah Sanders. Mrs. Ray Supple is chairman of the bazaar, which will be open to the public at 10:30 a.m. A salad luncheon will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m."
