2008-3246 IN PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM: **F869.S9 S79 1920z, pg. 24. Plates in: Sutter Basin Company photograph album : irrigated river bottom lands. Photographs marked "McCurry Foto Co." in lower right corner. In center stands a small house covered by a trellised vine on the left of the front door and on right a latticed trellis is being covered by the same vine; in front of door stand two women, one in broad-brimed hat; another woman stands to the right of the path in a black hat and skirt; to the right of the house on the lawn stands another woman; the contented man stands on the path leading to the front door; daisies border the lawn area; a tree stands on the left of the lot and beneath its branches can be viewed another house. "17171-R" -- lower left corner. Sutter Basin Company developed and sold land in Sutter County as part of Sutter Basin Project. Irrigation system of pumping stations, canals, etc. was owned by Sutter Mutual Water Company.
