Description
This is a window display of Baker's General Electric appliance store on 206 South First Avenue in Arcadia. The focus of the display are the Fryryte electric deep fryer and the Osterizer blender. The painted sign on the window invites patrons to come in for a product demonstration by Kay Price. Several 1950s era automobiles are seen in the window's reflection. The photo was taken on October 26, 1950, and was ordered by Hobart K. Churchill. The 1951 Pasadena City Directory lists Mr. Churchill as a salesman (presumably for the Baker's appliance store) who resided with his wife Jane L. at 705 Florecita Terrace in Altadena.
