Cravath was asked to resign at the end of the 1950 season due to losing key games during his coaching career at USC. In the photograph are, front row, left to right: LA Times Sports Editor Braven Dyer, Gwynn Wilson
and back row: Cravath (wearing a tie that says "Good Luck Jeff"), and Dick Nash.
