Scope/Content: Annotations written on the first 2 pages of the 1488 incunable Daretis Phrygii de excidio Troiae historia. Annotations consist of copies or drafts of three letters, written in or around 1540 by someone in Southern France. The text block has been heavily trimmed, with losses of manuscript from the top and bottom margins.
Condition: Bound in 20th century brown calf with gilt titling on black spine label. All edges gilt.
