1 image. Departure for London, 16 April 1958. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lewis. Supplemental material reads: "From news bureau. Pan American World Airways. Off to London -- Comedian Jerry Lewis who today (4/15) departed International Airport via Pan American Airways Polar Clipper with a 13-member troupe for London, has prepared for the arrival in style complete with top hat, walking stick and monicle, however, his two-year old son, Scott, has a ways to grow before he can wear the derby, but maybe next time over. Wife Patty Lewis looks on. Jerry opens his first single act at London's Palladium April 20 for two weeks and returns to Los Angeles May 15 for his new TV show on NBC and is scheduled to open at the Moulin Rouge here May 20, also for two weeks and begins his picture 'Geisha Boy' for Paramount. Besides the Lewis's, others in the group include, Ernest Glucksman, personal manager and producer at his York Pictures Hall Bell, actor David Joesting, stage manager Lou Brown, pianist Gretchen Hauser, dancer Leon Bennet, valet Milton Hale, road manager Dick Humphreys, dancer Murray Frank, actor and Ann Miller, nurse".
