Description
Henry C. Soto used a big scissors to cut the ribbon at his "Disposal Gardens" dumpsite at its recent grand opening. Assisting him are co-managers Jesse Reyes and Al Prather. Landscaping in front of the development was so effective that the huge dump sign in the background had to be erected to convince truckers the landscaped dump was truly a dump area. Site is located in San Pedro on Vermont Avenue between Highway 101 and Anaheim Street. Photo dated: Photo dated: July 21, 1965.
