Description
This circa 1992 postcard speaks to the expansion of Sacramento's Community Convention Center, located at Thirteenth and J streets. The 80 million dollar project added an estimated 1,930 jobs to the area economy, over a ten year period. Physically, the building was expanded by 261,800-square-feet, including exhibition halls and a 25,750-square-foot ballroom.
