Description
This 1900 postcard shows a steamer and barge making their way along a portion of the Sacramento River. Much of the commerce along the river, at this time, was controlled by the California Transportation Company which, merged with the Sacramento Navigation Company and the Fay Transportation Company, would eventually become River Lines.
