Photograph caption dated June 18, 1965 reads "Dr. Edward W. Stimson." The article partially reads "A large group of Southern California ministers and other churchmen representing several Protestant denominations heard a somber warning yesterday of extreme left wing (Red) influences in the churches which threaten to 'scuttle our liberties.'" Stimson is a Presbyterian pastor from Nebraska.
