Ditch-digger burrowing trench for storm drain along Coldwater Canyon avenue near Burbank boulevard struck pipe. Three-hundred foot geyser shot towards sky, water filled ditch and houses were showered with water-borne rocks before Department of Water and Power crews shut off main."
