Description
CALTRANS demolition, 1st street and Main in Downtown Los Angeles. A couple of Cleveland Bros. brand backhoes can be seen piling up the demolished building debris. A backhoe is a piece of excavating equipment consisting of a digging bucket on the end of an articulated arm (also called a stick or dipper). John's Burger stand sits intact on the corner of the lot.
