Credit printed on photo: "Western Photo Co. S.F." Text written under photo: "Return from France of the 363rd regiment Welcomed in front of City Hall April 1919." View looks west from the roof of the Public Library and shows the City Hall decked out in patriotic bunting. A huge crowd is gathered in front of City Hall and down the middle of Civic Center Plaza, comprised of soldiers and civilians.
