The white line in the picture outlines the actual boundaries of the building with the altar temporarily set where the altar will be and choir standing in the proposed choir area to the right of the picture. Rev. Robt. Thomas, pastor of the church, in front of the altar, led the breaking of ground with all members present participating, each with his own shovel."
