In this debate Dr. Patton and Dr. Scriven discuss issues related to utilization-focused evaluation and its promise and pitfalls respectively. The debate covers key issues to how the field is practiced today. The debaters discuss the importance of building capacity to think strategically about evaluation and increase commitment to conducting high quality and useful evaluations.
