View 3: The L.A. Chamber of Commerce initiated "Christmas Outdoors", activities that would draw attention to Southern California's balmy Christmas climate. Two teens dressed in costumes can be seen decorating a larger than life parade decoration in the shape of a king or a Magi (one of the three wise men). It is unclear how this figure will be placed on the float, or how it will be transported in the procession. Photo dated: December 20, 1929.
