Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated March 10, 1961 partially reads, "The 19-year-old son of actor Jackie Coogan today has been permitted to remain free on $1,575 bail pending a preliminary hearing in Van Nuys municipal court on a morals charge involving two teenage girls. Judge Francis A. Cochran ordered John Anthony Coogan, 11203 Collett St., Granada Hills, back in court at 9:30 a.m., March 24. Coogan surrendered to Van Nuys police when they went to his home after questioning a Sherman Oaks auto dealer and one of his salesmen, both of whom were also booked on the same charges."
