Description
"DAHOMEY - Le lit du Mono a Athieme." ("River bed of Mono at Athieme.") Over fifty women and children stand along the shores and in the water of a shallow receding river. Many seem to be bathing. Standing on a higher bank on the far left is a missionary father overlooking the scene. Postcard issued by "Missions Africaines, 150, Cours Gambetta, Lyon."
The back of the postcard is blank.
