Photograph caption dated September 17, 1989 reads, "Investigators search scene for cause of Ontario plane crash that killed pilot who witnesses say deliberately nose-dived craft into yard to avoid nearby houses. 'I feel sorry for his family, but what he did was very brave,' said a man whose wife and daughter narrowly escaped death." The crash occurred at 800 E. Rosewood Court.
