Description
A roadside billboard advertises the coming Horizon Hills subdivision development underway by the Marblehead Land Company. Louis T. Busch Associates are listed as the realtor agent. The subdivision boasted large lots with ocean views over Zuma beach on the west-facing side of Point Dume in Malibu. The small "Vote No on 29" sign refers to a September 1959 election to expand water service to Malibu through the establishment of Los Angeles County Waterworks District 29 for Malibu and Topanga. The motion would pass.
