Description
Photograph of the Summerland Oil Wells in Santa Barbara County, 1902. Two slopes are visible at left and right, forming a small valley in between. A small amount of water is visible running between the slopes, while what appears to be a bin and house-like structure with two windows are visible on top of the hill at left. Two piers jut into the ocean beyond the hills, and a dozen oil wells are visible on the piers, near the piers, on the left hill, or near the valley.
