Photograph of the Hutching's cabin in Yosemite National Park, 1884. In the center, a wood cabin sits at the end of a dirt path. The cabin has a wood tiled roof that is steeply angled with a clear view of one side of the house. The trees in the surrounding forest cast dark shadows over the cabin. In the foreground, low brush covers the ground while leaves from large trees are visible at the top of the picture. In the background, a dense forest is visible.
