Description
An unpaved road leads to homes in an area of Laurel Canyon. On the right, a stone retaining wall holds back the earth, suggesting the presence of a home on the far right just outside of the image frame. In the background on the right a section of a home is visible. The canyon neighborhood, which became a part of the city of Los Angeles in 1923, has been a popular residential choice for many celebrities, both past and present. The canyon's unique character and history have been documented in many films and novels.
