Photograph of "a primary group with Sister Rose. Sister has twelve pupils - 8 first graders, 2 second graders and 2 third graders. Note the half-doors. There is another entrance at the front of the room. There were three pupils in the outside row, but they were not in focus. These little desks and chairs were made at the Philippine Trade School. We order 40 of them - twenty for this room and so for the room across the hall. His Grace gave us the student chairs for our normal classes. In June, we hope to have enough pupils to combine grades I & II and III & IV across the hall. This room is ready with blackboards, etc. There is an upright piano in the room - one which we were asked to store. It is the property of an American woman who has been seriously ill in St. Paul's since October. We also have her grand piano which we put in the library."
