Description
Photograph of a blimp-shaped float in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, ca.1900. The float is at center and is surrounded by several young boys in light-colored uniforms. The float consists of a large, oval-shaped balloon held in place by flower-covered ropes. The boys are holding more flower-covered ropes that are attached to the base of the blimp. There is a sidewalk at left, as well as several large trees. A horse-drawn vehicle is making its way down the dirt street in the background at right.
